Overview:

Presented by the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, this clinically-oriented course brings the practicing surgeon up-to-date on the latest developments in hernia surgery with an intensive overview of problems encountered in daily practice and is of substantial value in preparation for board and recertification examinations. This year's program emphasis is on the diagnosis, peri-operative evaluation and surgical treatment of hernias involving the abdominal wall and diaphragm.

This symposium is designed for general surgeons, plastic surgeons, thoracic surgeons,and other surgeons and allied health professionals who participate in the surgical management of hernia conditions.

The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
