This course takes an evidenced-based view of integrative oncology, and will address core areas of a patient-centered approach to supportive and palliative cancer care, including nutrition, natural products, meditation, yoga, acupuncture, and physical activity. The course will review key evidence and focus on national practice guidelines in developing integrative treatment plans for cancer patients during active treatment and in post-treatment survivorship, including care for underserved populations.
LIVE STREAM MEETING
This course will be offered as a live interactive virtual conference. Login instructions along with the digital syllabus will be shared with attendees a week before the meeting. Included in your registration fee is access to the course recordings on demand (available within a week after the conference) for any sessions that you miss, available for up to 30 days post-course.
All registrants will receive a webinar log-in link the week of the course. You will enter your full name and email address to “log-in” and authenticate yourself. Once completed, you will have access to the conference, and the system will email you an individualized access link to join the webinar at any time. For the rest of the conference you will use this link to join the webinar each day and you will never need to log-in again. If you click on the link but the webinar hasn’t started yet you will be placed in a waiting room. Attendees will be admitted from the waiting room into the webinar once we begin. All of the live content is recorded and hosted on the course webpage for 30 days post course so you can review anything that you might have missed.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This conference is tailored to general and subspecialty oncologists, palliative care specialists, behavioral health practitioners and generalists who commonly care for cancer patients. These learners are commonly the caregivers for cancer patients during and after treatment and for whom these practice gaps have been identified.
Objectives should be based on learning needs described above and/or the desired outcomes described below.
The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of 11.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This CME activity meets the requirements under California Assembly Bill 1195, continuing education and cultural and linguistic competency.
